About Euro Relief
Relief today, dignity tomorrow.
Euro Relief is an international charity committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of Palestinian refugees. As a UK-based charity, we focus on three pillars: providing immediate relief, empowering individuals through training, and offering opportunities to build self-sustaining livelihoods.
Guided by principles of transparency, impartiality and compassion, we aim to bridge the gap between those who need help and those who wish to offer it. Together, we hope to build a future where every person can live with dignity, hope and opportunity.
2018 — How we began
Since our founding on 15 May 2018, Euro Relief has remained steadfast in its commitment to aid those who need it most. Launched on the seventieth anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba — a day of immense significance for the global Palestinian community — our charity was created by a group of professional British Palestinians who recognised the urgent need to address the suffering of Palestinian refugees.
2018–2024 — Where the work led
Our first humanitarian initiative was held during Ramadan in 2018, when we organised iftars for Palestinian refugee children in the Wadi El-Zayni area of Lebanon. These children, displaced from their homes in Syria by the ongoing conflict, were among the first to experience the care Euro Relief aims to provide. The success of that effort led us to continue in refugee camps across Jerusalem, Jenin and the Gaza Strip.
Today — Who we serve
Euro Relief works in support of approximately 6.5 million Palestinian refugees living in 58 camps across occupied Palestine and neighbouring countries including Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. These communities have endured harsh conditions for generations, facing severe challenges in accessing food, healthcare, housing and education.
