Financial Transparency

How funds are raised, held, and spent.

We believe trust is earned through disclosure.

How contributions are handled

Euro Relief, a charity registered in England & Wales (no. 1197389), is the recipient of all donations. Gifts are applied to the campaign or project you choose; where none is specified they are directed to where the need is greatest. We maintain segregated accounting for restricted gifts and documented procurement and approval procedures. A modest, disclosed portion of each contribution covers payment processing and operating costs so programmes are delivered responsibly and sustainably.

Published project costs

We publish the unit cost of our projects — £5 for a bread bundle, £100 for a monthly family food parcel, £500 for a 10,000-litre water tanker — so donors can see exactly what a gift buys.

Payments & security

Card payments are processed by our payment providers on PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure. We never see or store card details.

Zakat

Zakat-eligible contributions are held separately and disbursed only for Zakat-eligible purposes, in line with our Zakat Policy.

Reporting

Annual and financial reports are published as they are completed, and our filings are available on the public register of the Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Segregated funds

Restricted gifts are accounted for separately and used as designated.

Documented controls

Procurement, approvals, and disbursements follow written procedures.

Independent oversight

Our board reviews expenditure and program outcomes.
