Kasb — A Livelihood of Their Own

The final phase: microfinance, training and mentorship so young people can launch their own small business. £500–£2,000 per orphan.

Kasb — A Livelihood of Their Own

Very often the knowledge, the skill and the will are already there, and there is real demand in the market — but a lack of capital keeps the plan on the shelf. Kasb closes that gap with microfinance loans, training and mentorship, funding workshops and work units such as mobile phone repair equipment.

What it costs

£500 – £2,000 per orphan, depending on the project.

Long-term goals

  • Achieving complete economic independence for beneficiaries.
  • Breaking the cycle of poverty.
  • Building a new generation of responsible future leaders.

The outcome

Transforming orphans into entrepreneurs who can create opportunities for others.
